  We just had a kitchen installed by Mike's Country Kitchen and are very pleased with the results. Maria Penney was our sales person, helped with the design and was very knowlegeable and answered our questions without hestitation. We called Maria anytime even on the weekends and we never felt like we were bothering her and she was always willing to help us, this is the kind of customer service that keeps a company in business. I would recommend MCK and Maria Penney to my friends and in general conversation for anyone interested in acquiring a new kitchen.

  The service prior to installation was great. We were very excited being brand new homeowners. We were told to send all of our appliance's measurements as soon as we had them so that they could build the kitchen accordingly. We did this. Then when the kitchen finally came, first, our fridge stuck out 10 inches from the cabinets and because of this we could not open our corner cabinet door... Then many pieces of the cabinets were not level, there were pencil marks everywhere, a few pieces of the trim that goes on top of the cabinets were in several pieces making it look bad, and some were different colours. Terrible caulking job, poor craftsmanship all around. Then on top of all this when we called to ask for someone to come fix these things we received horrible customer service and also found out that our fridge measurements weren't even recorded. Which made us question, we called and told them our measurements, and yes clearly forgot to write down the measurements, but you would think whoever was physically making the cabinets would question the fridge measurements. Anyway, when we called to ask them to return they were very rude and reluctant to come back, but they did and it was the same guy who initially installed the cabinets leaving them a mess, only they did not fix everything this time... This happened about 3 times (3 more service calls) until we finally decided we were just gonna have to deal with what they hadn't fixed at that point. All that was offered to us in return for the trouble was a plastic spice drawer organizer. We never heard from them again asking us if we were satisfied customers, which we definitely are not. Very disappointed in the service and craftsmanship. I give them ZERO stars.

  My husband and I thought about a new kitchen for years but had no idea where to start. We dropped in to the Halifax showroom hoping to get some inspiration and met Tony and Susan. Tony offered to come out to our house to take a look (no one else offered to do that for us- and it was free!) to help us with our design. In a very short time we were looking at pictures of what our kitchen could look like. Now I'm looking at the real thing and it's even more beautiful than I expected! Thank you Tony and Susan. My kitchen is lovely and I will be recommending MCK to anyone looking for a new kitchen!

  Had an excellent experience dealing with MCK Kitchens with my new kitchen reno. Maria was a dream to work with going above and beyond with some of my questions and concerns. Installation went very smoothly. I now have the kitchen of my dreams thanks to MCK Kitchens. I would highly recommend them.
